Wanting to sail further this summer, we headed south west to Galician Spain, thus making our very first crossing of the Bay of Biscay. Despite the periods of calm when we had to set our engine to work, the crossing was filled with wonders...the sunsets and sunrises, the dolphins coming to play; my first night watch, visiting the City of A Coruna and Santiago de Compostela. Although we did not walk to Santiago as most do, having sailed across the Bay of Biscay for the first time on Galatée provided a sense of accomplishment unique to ourselves.
2007年的夏天，决定到西班牙西北部游玩。从法国越过大西洋的比斯开湾到西班牙，是我们的“第一次”，也是我们航海以来最长的行程，因为风不多，总共四天四夜。路途中，在海洋中看日落等日出，第一次守夜，每隔3小时把对方叫醒“换班”。因为多年来潜水习惯了也爱上了出海，在月光下守夜，和那满天的星星，美极了！最难忘的就是那一群群的海豚，随着我们的帆船陪伴我们，让我们充分的感觉到大自然的神奇！在西班牙，乘火车到圣地亚哥德孔波斯特拉。虽然不像大多数朝圣者行走万里越过的圣地亚哥之路，我们也算是“航程万里”抵达了这个神圣的目的地！
